My friend Sean Tanner posted a blog today using the acronym ANTHEM. He was drawing from a John Piper blog about lust. Well that got me thinking, so I taylorized the acronym and posted my version here. Check out Sean and John when you can. They have great blogs.
A - ACKNOWLEDGE each moment God's ability to strengthen you in every circumstance.
N - NOTE thoughts and feelings that are out of the stream of God's love.
T - TRUST that God will complete the work started in you.
H - HELP someone by demonstrating the love of Christ in a tangible way.
E - ENCOURAGE yourself by remembering God's unconditional love and acceptance.
M – MEET God at your point of need, and be changed.
