I took this pic today before returning to church. It's the Midland City "City Hall." It was built in 1904 by a Mr. Samuel Matthew and sits about two hundred yards from the church. Every time I drive by this antebellum style home I am reminded that the founders of Midland City had high hopes for their town. The home reminds me of the "old south" and the rich legacy shared by the community.
