If you look close you can see that EVERYTHING has germinated. The collards, in the first two rows on the right, might be too small to see in this picture (click the pic to see a larger version), but the beans and watermelons are about three inches high.
Today the news reported that parts of Alabama are sinking deeper in drought. I don't live in those parts :-) Rain kept me out of the garden for three days this week.
