Today I heard an interview with the three Perry siblings from south Alabama. I promptly went home and found this video. Substance makes a song for me. I'll take substance over style any day, but when the two come together in just the right way it can resonate with my soul. "If I Die Young" has got the subject matter, the southern sound, and just enough theology to make me tip my hat to the Perry trio. Artistry well done.
